Description
Murchison Falls National Park is Uganda’s oldest and largest protected nature reserve, thanks to its spectacular waterfall and prolific game. Embark on a scenic game drive across the park and spot the big five. Enjoy boat-based game viewing, with lion, elephants, hippo, buffalo and Rothschild’s giraffe being particularly common along the north bank of the Nile.
Itinerary
Day 1: Travel from Kampala – Murchison falls National Park. We’ll have a stopover in Masindi town for lunch and re-fuelling.
Day 2: After breakfast, we’ll head for an early game drive through the park. We will return to the lodge just before lunch for some relaxation and a bite to eat. In the afternoon, we will go for a boat cruise to the peaceful Victoria Nile and to the base of the falls just a few meters from the Devils Cauldron. The boat leaves you near the falls and you will hike to the top (optional). Relax a bit at the top where you can enjoy the Niles beauty.
Day 3: Drive from MFNP back to your hotel, Kampala.
